the Rise-Up

We are a collective of small business owners, residents (youth, parents, elders) and surrounding community members who offer various skills in cultural work, development, healing, arts, organizing, land connection, research, public governance and more. 

We work in solidarity with the neighborhoods next to us to ensure that our health is not determined by our zipcode. The 55104 has a population of 17,475 people under the age of 24. We aim to work with others in the hamline-midway, Thomas-dale, Union Park and summit-university neighborhoods to shift leadership to our youngest generation.

We are committed to holding decision makers accountable by ensuring historically marginalized voices are elevated, heard and the changes represent those who currently live in the St Paul Midway, Frogtown, Rondo area, specifically in the immediate area of the soccer stadium. We rise up for:

• Reallocating dollars within the community 

• Raising awareness and stopping evictions and gentrification

• Reclaiming property

• Ownership 

• Healing & wellness

• Community led initiatives
